"A Cheeky Moment Captured"
Layout
with Amy Voorthuis

Hello and goodmorning lovely 2Crafty friends,
How wonderful of you all to stop by the 2Crafty blog, this is my first layout for the month of April. We are getting more and more warmer weather and how I love that.

For today I have another layout to share with you and this was such a great one to make I especially love that cheeky picture of Abbey. For this layout I used a 2016 paper collection by BoBunny called "Secret Garden" and a bunch of wonderful 2Crafty Chipboard pieces.
 Enjoy my post....

A Cheeky Moment Captured:

Gorgeous 2Crafty Chipboard used:
Amelia's Frames
Frame Lucy's Flourish
A Moment Captured
Cheeky - Loopy Font
Miniture Circle Frames
Lacey Border Set 1
Fine Word Set 3
Vine Small
Circle Tag Set 1
12x12 Braches Frame Set

It was a while back that I used rust paste on my work so that is what I did on thie layout. It gives your chipboard that extra vintage feeling you will probably see more of that from me soon.

After I applied the rust paste I also added some waxes on the other pieces I added some acrylic paints in different colors and on some of the chippies I used my alcohol/aqua pens like the green on the 12x12 Braches Frame Set which is a absolute new favorite of mine.

Hope you all enjoyed my post thank you so much for stopping by, I will be back with another project soon hope to see you back then....

'Ordinary' Art Journal Page
with Lisa Amiet

 Hello 2Crafty fans!
It's Lisa here today to share
some art journal inspiration with you.

'Ordinary'

 2Crafty products used:

2Crafty Used

Grass Clumps
Thistle
Field Mushrooms

For this art journal page,
I created my own mixed media background.

Then, I used some of the 'Thistle',
which I cut up and used on either side of my page.
I left these raw to go with the nature theme of my page.

I used one of the 'Field Mushrooms'
as the main focal point for my page,
which I also left raw.

I also used one of the 'Grass Clumps',
which I have coloured the same greens
and browns as my background,
layered over the thistle and mushroom.

I really love the green and brown natural tones to this page
and I am happy with how it turned out.
I hope that you like it too!

Until next time!

 Lisa

"dreams"
Layout by Marie Sabatier

Hello everyone,

I present my first inspiration of this April.
A layout in idyllic tones for a dream day, accompanied by a variety of romantic chipboards
and photos of my daughter-in-law.

"dream"

The chipboard used:

As usual, I prepare the chipboards by applying a layer of white gesso.
They were all embellished in the same way, using Lindy's Gang ink in 'Grab a Guy Gold'.
I start my layout by placing the "lacey-border-set-1" chipboard.

To frame my photos, I use these beautiful frames from "frame-mini-doodled-set".
They are so delicate. I love them!
It's been a long time since I've used these "arrow-word-set-1". I find it fits in perfectly with this layout.

Frames are commonly offered in different sizes, which is very useful for highlighting
small details in a photo.

Here I'm using the "beaded-hanging-heart-set" chipboards to make a dreamcatcher.

I hope you enjoyed this layout.

Happy scrapbooking!

Easter
By Charmane Sharp

Hello everyone, today I'm sharing a cute Easter layout with the gorgeous
Lil' Chicks either side of the Title. I love my Easter Meerkats so I thought
I would create a layout around them.

2Crafty Chipboard used…

Leafy Shrub set 2 x2
11’ Circular Leafy frame
Lil’ Chicks
Title- Easter

The Leafy Shrub pieces add beautiful design to my White and
Yellow floral cluster with their wax finish. Patina Green, Mint Sparkle
and Sage Leaves by Finnabair were rubbed on and finished with a dry
brushing of Gesso.

By building my cluster on top of the Leafy Swirls it enhanced
the features of the Frame and married them together. Especially by
using the same waxes.

A perfect title given an ombre effect with Orange ink  brushed on the
bottom and Yellow ink on the top. Then I blended the middle with my
finger. The cute Chicks were rubbed with Honey wax and a little Coral
wax to highlight the belly area. Finished with an outline of the beak and
wing with a black pen. Such an adorable combination.

With Easter almost upon us I hope you have enjoyed this cute
layout. Thanks for stopping by the blog.

Until next time...

Charmane x

#Totally Awesome
Masculine Layout By Di Garling

Hello there, welcome to the 2Crafty blog.

Today I have another layout to share with you & it features
the NEW "Steampunk Hanging Lightbulbs"
along with some other great chipboard pieces..

2Crafty Chipboard Used....
Totally Awesome - title
Hanging Steampunk Lightbulbs Set
Assorted Polaroid Frames Set

It has been a little while since I got my grunge on
& did a boy layout & so I thought it was a bit overdue !!!
So here it is. 👀❤

I have used a couple of the "Polaroid Frames" from the
 "Assorted Polaroid Set".
I blobbed some gesso onto them to get this lovely texture
before painting them with some metallic paints.

I was really happy with how they turned out.

I then gave the exact same treatment to two of the
"Hanging Steampunk Lightglobes" & then I simply
stuck one on each side of the two frames. I thought this
decorated the frames beautifully.

The last chipboard piece I have used on this layout, was this
"Totally Awesome" title & I have cut off a "HASHTAG" off
yet another piece of chipboard to add it into the title.
Again my title was all finished off with some metallic paints too.

I am also releasing this page as a KIT.

Until next time...

"Today One I Will Remember"
Layout
with Amy Voorthuis

 Goodmorning lovely 2Crafty friends,
I am so happy you stopped by the blog, today I made another layout to show you and again it's with a baby picture love doing layout's with cute babies lately. This baby is the son of my ex co-worker who became a first time mom in 2024. I have used some new and older chipboard pieces that combined perfectly with some prima paper & flowers.

Today One I Will Remember:

Most of the chipboard pieces are altered with some white gesso but I also left some of them just in their raw state, sometimes it just fits better that way. The white chipboard pieces on my layout are made white with some acrylic matte paint.

On the vintage steampunk clock clusters I added some different color waxes. The other chipboard pieces are coloured with my aqua/alcohol markers in a chocolate color & the dainty foilage stems in a dark green sage color and to finish them I added some of my waxes.

Hope you all enjoyed my post thank you so much for stopping by, I will be back with another project soon hope to see you back then....
