September Inspiration - Two Layouts
By Mary Catt

''Precious Moments''

Hello 2Crafty fans!
Mary here with you today to share two layouts and two video tutorials.

The first one is a romantic vintage layout designed on a dark gray paper from the
''Salvage District'' Prima collection & filled with lots of flowers.

I have also made a VIDEO TUTORIAL with the procedure.

I based this layout on the September challenges over at Prima Marketing PPP
and at More Than Words challenge blog.

I used the following 2crafty chipboards...
Marianne's Butterflies
 Lina's Swirl
Flourish Adornment Set 4
Precious - Loopy Font

I highlighted my dark background paper with some white gesso and then I used ''Tea Pot Purple''
and ''Open Arms Amethyst'' Lindy's Stamp Gang mists to add some color to it.

I painted the flourish chipboards with ''Rich Turquoise''
and the Lina's Swirl with the ''Dark Velvet'' Finnabair acrylic paints.

The title and the little butterfy chipboards were heat embossed
with ''Gilded Burgundy Brass'' Lindy's embossing powder.

I also used a small curved leftover chipboard from the ''Circle Revolution Frames''.

And this is my second layout... a monochromatic mystery and imaginary one this time...

Here you can see how I made it...

2crafty chipboards used on this layout...
ATC Tiny Hearts & Stars
Angel Wings
6" Clock Face Frames
ATC Words 1

I based it on three challenges...
Prima BAP, Scrapki-Wyzwaniowo and Studio75

I used the ''Flirty'' paper from ''Homegrown'' 7dots Studio collection. I applied Graphite texture paste with a stencil and colored my background with the ''Brushed Nickel'' and ''Midnight Rendezvous Raven'' Lindy's Stamp Gang mists. I also made some splatters with 13arts Silver Splash ink.

I heat embossed the ''Angel Wings'' chipboard, which I cut in half, with ''Queen Sheba's Silver'' and then I sprinkled some Finnabair Art Sugar in ''White'' to make them sparkle. The title and the little stars chippies were treated the same way with the wings chipboards.

The clock frame was also heat embossed with ''Midnight Pewter'' Lindy's embossing powder.

The flowers and the embellishments are Prima and the metal tag is from Tim Holtz philosophy tags.

Thank you so much for stopping by!

See you here again next month...

September Inspiration by Kavitha

Hello everyone,
Kavitha here today and I am so excited to join 2crafty chipboard Design team.

My first layout is soft and shabby to match the sweet little girl picture.
I have used lots of fussy cutting elements and layers from the paper.

I coated the chipboard with a layer of heavy white gesso and painted it with two
shades of pink distress paints. On top of that I applied a layer of clear crackle medium.

Close up shots of the gorgeous Corner and Heart Flourish.

Fine Word Set 1
Funky Heart Swirls
Corner Genevive

My second layout is inspired by the colors n sketch over at prima marketing challenge.
I have used the Beautiful-loopy title, Fencing wire and Leafy shrub in this layout.

Beautiful loopy title chipboard was heat embossed with shabby embossing enamel.
Leafy shrub is first treated with white gesso, and then with acrylic paint and
holographic embossing powder to add some shine.

Fencing Wire chipboard is simply heat embossed with black glitter embossing powder.

September Layouts With Jaya Raghuvanshi

Hello 2Crafty chipboard Fans!

Today I have two layouts to share with you all. A bright, bold black page
and a soft, ethereal page . Hope you like them both.

"Follow Your Heart"

My first page is this soft layout titled Follow your heart.
This is one of the newly released chippie titles and its absolutely gorgeous!
I love it :)
Some close ups-

I used distress ink to colour my Moroccan panel chipboard and the title chipboard.
Next I doodled on them using white ink pen. I just couldn't resist using the doodling
 on the gorgeous font!!

The Ava's frame has been covered in white gesso and then coloured using watercolors.
Once it was dry I applied glossy accents on it.

Moroccan Panel
Ava's Frame

My second page is this layout I created. This page is all about chipboards
and how to make them stand out on you page.

All the background on the page has been done with the chipboard itself.
Isn't that awesome ? I love how it turned out. :)

 Some close-ups-

I used the Prima Art alchemy paints for my background and to colour my chipboards.
I dissembled the Circle Lace Panel chipboard panel and Flower doily chipboard to
 pieces to form my background.

Next I painted on the chipboard pieces in chosen colours and stamped on the background.
Once I was satisfied with the background I adhered the pieces o my page.

September Inspiration By Lisa Griffith

Hello 2 Crafty Chipboard fans!

Lisa here today with two layouts to share with you.

I found this beautiful vintage photograph on Pinterest and I was captivated by the
young man's expression - stoic, but still somehow tender. I loved the new chipboard
piece 'Fine Stem Frames' and I thought it would make a beautiful frame around my photo.

2 Crafty Chipboard pieces used:

'Vintage Keys'
'Steampunk Gears Medium'
'Steampunk Gears Small'
'Fine Stem Frames'

I first painted all my chipboard pieces with black acrylic paint and then roughly
heat embossed them with a chunky old gold embossing powder to give them a
 time worn metallic look.

My second layout is a page inspired by this vintage photograph of my mum as a flower girl at
her Aunt's wedding.

Here I kept the chippies clean and simple with just some white acrylic paint.

2 Crafty Chipboard pieces used:

'Corner Thick Vine'
'Fine Leafy Bush'

See you soon, thanks for looking.
